Reliability/Test Technician

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of experience as a test technician, reliability technician, or a similar role in a hardware development environment.

Hands‑on experience with environmental testing (temperature, humidity, vibration), functional testing, and electrical testing.

LOTO experience and familiarity with high‑voltage equipment and systems.

Strong familiarity with electrical circuits, electrical panels, and components.

Proficiency in setting up and operating various test and measurement equipment.

Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and analyze issues during testing.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test specifications.

Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, JMP; Python for data analysis is a plus).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance testing (e.g., UL, FCC).

Experience with automated testing systems.
