The Moscow Food Co-op is looking for a creative, technically skilled, and community-minded Communications & Digital Marketing Coordinator to lead our marketing and communications work. This is a hybrid role — part desk, part sales floor, part community — for someone who is equally comfortable designing a social media campaign, photographing a seasonal display, analyzing owner engagement data, and showing up at a community event with a camera and a Co-op tote bag. This position is the primary steward of the Co-op’s brand, voice, and visual identity across all channels. You will work closely with the General Manager, department managers, and community partners to tell the Co-op’s story in ways that deepen relationships with our current owners and welcome new ones. Why This Role MattersThe Moscow Food Co-op has been part of this community for more than 50 years. We have an extraordinary story to tell — about local food, cooperative values, environmental stewardship, and the people who make this place what it is. We also have data we’re not yet fully using, programs we’re not yet fully promoting, and a community that we know wants to be more connected to us.The right person for this role will see that gap as an opportunity, not a problem. You’ll bring the skills to close it — and the creativity to do it in ways we haven’t imagined yet.Why Work at the Moscow Food Co-op?The Moscow Food Co-op has been a cornerstone of this community since 1973. We are a member-owned cooperative with more than 7,000 owner households, two locations, and a deep commitment to local sourcing, environmental sustainability, and cooperative values. We are proud of our workplace culture — one where people are seen as complete human beings, relationships are not transactional, and the work we do together matters.Employee Perks & BenefitsAll employees receive:20% store discountEmployee Profit SharingParticipation in our 401(k) planFull-time employees receive additional benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceShort-term Disability InsuranceAccident and Hospital InsuranceTelemedicine and Mental Health ServicesPaid Time Off (PTO)Part-time employees working 20+ hours/week also receive:Dental & Vision InsuranceShort-term Disability InsuranceAccident and Hospital InsuranceTelemedicine and Mental Health ServicesPosition SummaryThe Communications & Digital Marketing Coordinator leads the Moscow Food Co-op’s marketing, communications, and digital engagement efforts in support of the Co-op’s mission, values, and strategic goals.
