Social strategist

Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. We are looking to appoint a social strategist to shape culturally relevant, insight-led social thinking to drive brand growth, audience engagement and commercial impact for our creative agency.
Working across clients, creative teams and agency disciplines, the role combines strategic planning, platform expertise and creative collaboration to develop social-first ideas, campaigns and content strategies that perform effectively across channels.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of social culture, audience behaviour, trends, creators, platform mechanics and performance data, alongside the ability to translate insight into compelling strategic direction.
The strategist plays a key role in connecting social activity with wider brand, creative and business objectives, ensuring social is embedded upstream in planning, ideation and storytelling, rather than treated as a downstream delivery channel.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing social and content strategies
Identifying cultural and commercial opportunities
Supporting pitches and new business and shaping campaign frameworks
Analysing performance and optimisation opportunities
Collaborating closely with internal teams
