Software Engineer V

will be responsible for building custom software solutions of high quality while following the coding standards and technical design.

role. You

must have

at least 15 years of software development experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the material handling industry as well. This role requires the candidate to be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Design and develop software applications.

Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.

Typically report to a manager.

Provide consultation on complex projects.

Work on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state‑of‑the‑art technical or industry knowledge.

Work autonomously.

Provide a leadership role for a work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.

Travel up to 15% of the time.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 15 years of professional experience designing and developing software applications.

.NET

Proficiency with C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Proficiency with Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP).

Proficiency with troubleshooting/debugging software applications.

Experience with the following technologies: Windows Services, Microsoft Entity Framework, SQL, LINQ, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, TCP/IP.

Experience with the following development tools: Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft Azure/DevOps, Git, Source Control and Bug Tracking, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office.

Experience designing and developing web‑based systems, as well as client/server based applications.

Experience in software development lifecycle methodology.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Java

Proficiency with Java and the JDK Framework.

Proficiency with Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP).

Proficiency with troubleshooting/debugging software applications.

Experience with the following technologies: Java Messaging Service, Java Servlet, Windows Services, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, TCP/IP.

Experience with the following development tools: Eclipse, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), StarTeam, Microsoft Azure/DevOps, Git, Source Control and Bug Tracking, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office.

JavaScript

Proficiency with JavaScript and the relevant frameworks (Microsoft ASP.NET MVC Framework, Microsoft Entity Framework, Vue.js, Angular.js, etc.).

Proficiency with troubleshooting/debugging software applications.

Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft ASP.NET MVC Framework, Microsoft Entity Framework, Vue.js, Angular.js, HTML, CSS, AJAX, SQL, LINQ, MVC and MVVM architectural patterns, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, .NET Core, WCF/Web API, Microsoft Windows Presentation Framework (WPF), Windows Services.

Experience with the following development tools: Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft Azure/DevOps, Git, Source Control and Bug Tracking, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office.

Experience designing and developing web‑based systems and client/server based applications.

Experience in software development lifecycle methodology.
