## Job Description**Position Summary**The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing inbound leads, developing new business, and guiding clients through the full sales process—from initial inquiry through contract execution. This role plays a critical part in shaping the client experience, ensuring each interaction reflects Peachtree Catering & Events’ commitment to thoughtful hospitality, responsiveness, and high-quality event design.This is a hands-on, performance-driven role that requires both sales execution and relationship management. The Sales Manager will manage a pipeline of opportunities across weddings, corporate, and off-premise events, while collaborating closely with Operations, Culinary, and Marketing to deliver a seamless and compelling client experience.### **Core Responsibilities**#### **Sales & Pipeline Management*** Respond to all new inquiries promptly (ideally same-day; no later than 24–48 hours)* Manage leads from initial inquiry through proposal, follow-up, and contract execution* Maintain an organized and accurate pipeline within the company’s CRM (Reserve)* Drive leads efficiently toward close, maintaining momentum and clear communication throughout* Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals#### **Client Experience & Event Development*** Lead clients through the event planning process, translating vision into well-structured proposals* Build tailored menus and event designs in collaboration with Culinary and Operations teams* Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with clients at all stages* Host and attend tastings, site visits, and planning meetings, ensuring a high-touch experience* Ensure all key client details are accurately captured and communicated internally#### **Business Development & Relationship Management*** Actively cultivate new business through venue partnerships, industry relationships, and outbound efforts* Maintain consistent outreach to venues and partners (no venue goes more than ~30 days without contact)* Identify opportunities to expand into new markets (e.g., corporate, off-premise, non-wedding events)* Collaborate with Marketing to support lead generation and brand positioning#### **Revenue Strategy & Operational Alignment*** Build proposals that balance client experience with profitability* Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategy, package development, and sales initiatives* Work cross-functionally with Operations and Culinary to ensure event feasibility and execution alignment* Maintain accuracy in contracts, billing, and event documentation#### **Team Collaboration*** Participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute to team strategy and performance discussions* Support fellow Sales Managers to ensure overall team success and client satisfaction* Maintain strong internal communication with Coordinators, Operations, and Culinary teams## Qualifications* 2–5+ years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality, catering, weddings, or events* Strong ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a high level of professionalism* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through* Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented* Comfortable balancing relationship-building with performance expectations* Experience with CRM systems (Reserve or similar platforms preferred)* Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for tastings, events, and client meetings
