Business Development Manager – Sports & Rehabilitation Technology (West / South U.S.)
Location: California or Texas preferred

Territory: Western & Southern United States

About the Opportunity
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in accelerating market adoption across physical therapy clinics, sports performance centers, universities, and professional athletic organizations.

This is a highly visible field‑based role combining strategic business development, consultative selling, and industry relationship management. You will work directly with clinicians, coaches, athletic trainers, and decision‑makers who are shaping the future of performance and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth

Identify and develop new business opportunities within sports performance, rehabilitation, and healthcare environments

Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across assigned territories

Conduct engaging product demonstrations and solution‑based presentations (in‑person and virtual)

Drive revenue growth through consultative sales strategies and value‑driven discussions

Consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives

Territory Expansion & Market Presence

Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers

Position the company as a recognized leader in objective performance assessment technology

Identify partnership opportunities with clinics, universities, training centers, and performance labs

Expand brand visibility within the sports medicine and human performance ecosystem

Education & Client Engagement

Deliver educational workshops and presentations around data‑driven rehabilitation and performance optimization

Support participation in conferences, trade shows, and industry events

Collaborate with customers to develop case studies and success stories

Ensure an outstanding onboarding and customer experience

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with marketing, leadership, and clinical education teams

Maintain accurate CRM reporting and sales forecasting

Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support strategic growth initiatives

What We’re Looking For
Required Experience

5+ years of experience in business development, territory management, or B2B sales

Proven success in medical devices, healthcare technology, sports technology, rehabilitation equipment, or related industries

Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

Experience managing long sales cycles and consultative sales processes
