UGP is a fast‑growing apparel company specializing in t‑shirts and more. With over 300 employees and a 172,000 SF production facility, we rank among the U.S.’s top screen printers.

Our store and office locations across the United States serve both B2C and B2B customers including non‑profits, retailers, and universities, as well as brand and licensor partners in marketplace and corporate channels.

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is willing to provide excellent customer support outside regular business hours, when required.

Responsibilities

Promote UGP’s core values: work hard, show up, be respectful, honest, strive for excellence, and promote DEI.

Convert quotes into sales, converting leads delivered by marketing into orders.

Communicate sales, store, and personnel information to the regional manager in a timely manner.

Adhere to the Digital Code of Conduct.

Provide constructive feedback to effect change.

Participate in weekly 1 on 1 meetings with the Regional Sales Manager and a weekly L10 with the RSM and other sales managers.

Assist in coverage when other UGP team members are unavailable, handling email, phone coverage and, as needed, travel to another UGP location.

Ensure customers receive the best experience.

Engage with the local community, attend local events, and represent UGP at Chamber of Commerce meetings and other networking groups.

Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person to determine their needs, focusing on the customer’s preferences.

Generate and relay ideas for sales and marketing tools to the Regional Sales Manager.

Collaborate with the National Sales Manager and Head of Marketing to engage customers and drive sales at events and local opportunities.

Location Responsibilities

Open and close the store per the checklists, and maintain store hours.

Deposit money to the bank for both custom and retail per the procedure.

Interview, hire, train, direct, and evaluate Store Associates.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming storefront; ensure custom orders and retail products are easy to find.

Schedule SA store hours and handle call‑offs, no‑shows, and shift changes.

Coordinate retail displays, keeping racks and cubbies full, stocked, and organized.

Administer supervisory tasks: time card approvals, annual reviews, disciplinary actions, and time‑off requests for Store Associates.

Actively manage the store on major retail events such as home football weekends, graduations, and fairs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university.

Excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Previous sales experience.

Strong typing speed and accuracy.

Highly advanced organizational skills.

Proficiency with Gmail, cloud computing sites, and social media.

Prior management experience preferred.
