Overview:
The SVP, Strategy will provide consistently superior media strategies, ideas and marketplace solutions tailored to fast-paced client. They will act as Client Lead across strategy for North America and Global Strategy Lead overseeing brand-side strategy and work in lockstep with the SVP, Investment who acts as the Investment Lead for North America and the Global Investment Lead.
Responsibilities
Own the regional leadership role, setting expectations locally while representing the region globally (being both ad advocate and critical voice when needed)
Primary day-to-day client contact for ongoing questions, feedback, and requests
Guide strategy development & tactical decisions
Coach the team on strategy fundamentals and media basics
Sense-check recommendations for feasibility and alignment to client expectations
Ensure briefs are fully understood andreflected accurately in outputs
Tighten and clarify work to add strategic polish and reduce rework
Act as the escalation point for executional questions and clarifications as well as issues
Final review and QA tactical plans, decks, and deliverables in detail before they go to the client (ensure consistency/accuracy)
Assist with managing the following:
Translating client feedback directly and clearly to the team
Managing timelines closely, including negotiating due dates and sequencing deliverables
Tracking open items, follow-ups, and action items across workstreams
Troubleshooting executional issues as they arise
Coordinating internally to keep work moving and prevent bottlenecks
Reoccurring budget management
Qualifications
Minimum 10 – 12 years of media experience with extensive planning knowledge
Superior client service experience with proven ability to provide strategic media plans
Bachelors degree
Experience across all media types (national, local, direct, OOH)
Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
Ability to translate numbers into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables
Excellent leadership ability to drive team to deliver results
Strong listener who absorbs nuance, context, and feedback without defensiveness (particularly around team feedback and ways of working)
Trusted day-to-day client point of contact
Service-oriented mindset; focused on getting the work right
Clear, responsive communicator(can keep an organizedinbox/teams chat)
Highly detail-oriented and methodical; consistently catches gaps, inconsistencies, and missed asks
Carefully tracks what was explicitly requested
Calm under pressure; able to manage urgency without unnecessary escalation
Pragmatic and flexible around timelines, trade-offs, and prioritization
Natural problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
Solid understanding of tactical media execution across channels to QA work and answer questions in real time
Comfortable being close to the work and in the weeds when needed
Collaborative coach to junior team members, guiding execution and problem-solving

Compensation Range: $180,215-$245,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
