The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Senior Account Executive to join our growing team. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, content, and performance, leading day-to-day social execution while contributing to higher-level planning across a portfolio of lifestyle, beauty, wellness, and tech clients. This person will own key workstreams across organic and paid social, bringing a strong point of view on how content, media, and culture work together to drive results. You’ll partner closely with the Director of Social Media and cross-functional teams to translate brand objectives into integrated, social-first programs that are platform-native, insight-driven, and performance-oriented. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently manage multiple clients and contribute meaningfully to both day-to-day execution and long-term strategic direction.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Drive execution against social strategies, contributing to the development and evolution of content frameworks and platform approaches
Own monthly and campaign-based content planning, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, cultural moments, and business goals
Translate social listening, platform trends, and performance data into clear, actionable recommendations
Contribute to integrated campaign planning across social, PR, creator, and paid media workstreams
Content & Execution
Drive ideation and development of social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
Oversee content pipelines from briefing through final delivery, ensuring strong creative execution and platform alignment
Support end-to-end content production, including pre-production planning, shoot coordination, and on-set execution for photo and video shoots
Support management of production logistics such as timelines, shot lists, talent coordination, and vendor communication
Partner with internal teams and external partners to ensure content is delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with creative direction
Write and refine channel-specific copy that reflects brand voice and drives engagement
Manage publishing workflows and maintain consistency, quality, and timeliness across channels
Partner with Talent & Creator teams to inform and execute influencer and UGC programs
Paid Social & Performance
Partner with paid media partners (internal and external) to align organic and paid strategies, ensuring cohesive campaign execution
Support development of paid social approaches, including audience strategy, budget allocation, and flighting recommendations
Inform creative development for paid campaigns, including concepting, briefing, and iteration based on performance insights
Analyze platform and campaign performance across both organic and paid, identifying trends, optimization opportunities, and learnings
Develop clear, insight-driven reporting that ties social performance to broader brand and business objectives
Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a key day-to-day client contact, owning communication across social workstreams
Contribute to client-facing presentations, supporting the delivery of strategies, content direction, and performance insights with clarity and confidence
Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, talent & creator, creative, and affiliate teams to ensure cohesive, integrated execution
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing social media for brands or agencies
Strong understanding of platform ecosystems (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, X) and evolving content formats
Experience supporting or executing integrated social strategies across both organic and paid channels
Working knowledge of paid social fundamentals, including audience targeting, budget allocation, flighting, and performance metrics (e.g., CPM, CPC, CTR, video views)
Proven ability to develop content ideas that are culturally relevant and strategically grounded
Experience managing content calendars, production workflows, and multi-channel publishing
Proficiency in analytics and social listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meltwater, CreatorIQ, native platform insights)
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with an understanding of platform nuance
Experience collaborating with creators and supporting influencer programs
Ability to interpret both organic and paid performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Experience supporting content production, including pre-production planning, on-set coordination, and post-production workflows
Strong presentation and client management skills
Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail
Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced agency environment
