Job Title
Supervising the operation of the Marketing, Communications (Public Relations), and Tourism Divisions at San Antonio International Airport (SAT).
Essential Job Functions
Coordinates marketing activities by setting goals and administrating advertising budgets.
Supervises Public Relations and Marketing agency resources and assigns budgets.
Directs media strategic development and negotiation.
Provides direct supervision of Division Directors and Assistant Marketing Managers.
Executes brand, advertising, and customer experience research.
Stewards all brand efforts and directs strategic evolution.
Responsible for internal and external communications.
Manages crisis communications.
Directs development of budgets, programs, and sales and marketing strategies.
Oversees technology requirements and needs.
Coordinates partnerships with the San Antonio Hotel/Attraction industry.
Represents the organization in social and business functions.
Prepares reports on divisions activities.
Oversees special projects and information technology issues.
Performs related duties as required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Six (6) years of experience in Marketing/Advertising and Communications applied to destination promotions.
Must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment and a Criminal History Records check upon employment.
Must maintain federally mandated security clearance required to work at an airport at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree from accredited college or university.
Experience in marketing and airport communications.
5 years of experience managing a marketing agency, creative agency, PR agency or similar.
American Association of Airport Executives.
Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
