The University of Chicago Press’s Books Division seeks a Promotions Coordinator to plan and implement promotional and publicity campaigns for a portfolio of client presses.
Responsibilities
Write and edit marketing copy.
Review advertisements, copy, and marketing materials.
Research media, create review lists, and conduct media outreach.
Serve as marketing liaison with client publishers and other Press departments, responding to regular inquiries.
Create and schedule social media posts for client presses.
Perform marketing functions such as communications, advertising, web blogs or digital marketing, market research, and develop or update marketing infrastructure, including managing external sales agency relationships.
Assist in developing marketing communications, advertising, or publicity materials under moderate to high guidance.
Perform other related work as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
College or university degree in a related field.
Less than 2 years of work experience in a related discipline.
Bachelor's degree (minimum).
Some graduate work is preferred.

Additional Information
Working Conditions:
Requires some domestic travel.
Pay Range:
$23.87 – $31.02 per hour.
