Role Overview
Premiere Networks, a leading audio and podcast publisher within iHeartMedia, is seeking an experienced Media Strategist to partner with our National Sales team in New York.
Responsibilities
Partner with sellers on select accounts to strategize, plan, and build media plans based on client objectives, KPIs, and success metrics.
Coordinate with broadcast platform divisions (Premiere Networks, Total Traffic & Weather Network, Smart Audio/Custom Network) to develop specific media plans and schedules.
Provide strategic support to key accounts: build presentations, gather research, prepare meetings, and communicate with clients.
Create detailed media plans for Sales and internal teams.
Collaborate day‑to‑day with Sales, Marketing, Planning, Research, and Revenue Management on strategy and plan recommendations.
Work with pre‑sale and post‑sale coordinators to set up campaigns and manage flighted execution.
Prepare orders, resolve billing issues, and support the VP in submitting sales reports, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis.
Work collaboratively with internal partners to drive revenue.
Qualifications
Knowledge of media math, strategy, and research techniques.
Self‑motivated and stays current on media landscape developments.
Understanding of market dynamics and demographics.
Strong communication, organization, analytical, and detail‑oriented skills.
Ability to thrive independently and as part of a team.
Experience in media/agency industry (required) and at least 1+ year of client relationship or sales planning experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.

Compensation
Salary range: $66,300 – $67,000, determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and market data.
