Coordinating Producer, MS NOW Weekends 10AM

Job Description
MS NOW is seeking an experienced Coordinating Producer for its joint weekend show airing 10 AM–1 PM on Saturday and Sunday with Jacob Soboroff. This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the social media & digital content for the show and the anchor across YouTube, Bluesky, X, TikTok, MS.NOW and MS NOW's DTC products

Craft a compelling and unique digital presence for the show & the anchor

Drive views & clicks to all social platforms

Write copy for all social media and digital posts

Pitch, edit, shoot and post original social media & digital content

Oversee & produce the show's original content for MS NOW's DTC products

Assist with research on segments and interviews

Pitch story ideas

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Must have at least 5 years of experience in live television, preferably cable news.

Thorough knowledge of current events, U.S. politics, geopolitics, foreign policy and history.

Desired Qualifications

Experience producing compelling social media and digital content.

Ability to identify clips & moments that generate views, clicks and drive traffic to the show’s digital & social platforms.

Must be proficient in desktop editing.

Proficient in editing with Avid.

Experience with Wildmoka.

Ability to research and plan stories.

Wide‑range reader of news, including op‑eds.

Additional Job Requirements

Must be willing to work in New York, NY.

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Must be willing to work weekends.

Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.

Benefits and Compensation
This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000.
