Position Summary

The Proposal Coordinator supports the growth of Aetna membership by developing customer-focused, strategically-oriented proposal responses. Proposal Coordinators have overall accountability for the quality and timeliness of Request for Proposals (RFPs), including responding to questionnaire components.
Proposal Coordinators are responsible for supporting our field sales force in growing and retaining Aetna membership by developing strategically-oriented proposals that offer customized solutions for plan sponsor needs. This includes assisting in the development of the sales strategy, responding to the questionnaire, complying with various data requests, and delivering a timely, high-quality proposal response. Additional responsibilities include coordinating responses to follow-up questions that showcase Aetna's strengths and differentiate us from our competitors. Our Proposal Coordinators are accountable for developing and maintaining technical knowledge of all Aetna products and services; must be organized, able to handle multiple tasks and excel at project management. Work schedule flexibility is required, as is the agility to manage changing priorities.
Required Qualifications

Must enjoy working in a fast paced, team environment and be adaptable to changing priorities.
0-2 years RFP project management experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and negotiate across the business and in the external health care environment.
Must be organized and efficient, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare experience or knowledge is an asset.
3 years RFP project management experience.
Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (HS Diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range: $18.50 - $38.82
