Title: Social Media Coordinator

Reports to: Chief Creative Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

In partnership with the creative team, the Social Media Coordinator supports the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive marketing plan focused on executing, expanding, and enhancing the brand awareness of HoPe, Inc.

Manage the HoPe social media content calendar to ensure strategic and intentional posts are scheduled including:

Upload and caption all content

Create interactive stories, posts, and reels

Repost tagged content from chapters, members, etc.

Share story responses throughout the day if someone asked a question(s)

Respond to Direct Messages in a timely manner.

Use HoPe-ified Voice

Direct message new HoPe Instagram followers (Template message is provided)

Interact with followers, HoPe chapters, and other approved Instagram accounts

Record and measure social media data (follower count, interactions, likes, etc.)

Stay up to date with social media trends

Maintain proper HoPe Social Media Online Etiquette

Be an advocate and believer in HoPe’s brand (colors, voice, strategy, etc.)

Keep constant and clear communication with the Creative team

Implement additional projects and tasks as assigned by the CCO

Encouraged to participate in all HoPe Team Events

Partake in meetings with the CCO

Communicate via Slack on a consistent basis

Qualifications

Strong commitment to HoPe’s mission and values

College student or young professional

Be approachable and relationship-oriented

Demonstrated interest/experience in Digital Media/Marketing, Social Media Managing, Relationship Building, and Professional Development/Networking

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English required

Energetic, personable, and creative with an ability to relate well to diverse populations

Deadline-oriented and able to take initiative and work well under pressure

Strong ability to plan and manage multiple projects with high attention to detail
