Position Overview
We are seeking a Computer Support Administrator / Audio Visual Technician to support a Department of Defense organization located at the Pentagon. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting desktop systems, AV/VTC equipment, network connectivity, and related IT infrastructure in a secure enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and experience supporting both IT and audio visual systems in classified environments.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, VTC, and infrastructure issues
Maintain and support desktops, laptops, VDI environments, servers, printers, and AV systems
Support and maintain Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and conferencing technologies
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco and AV infrastructure
Provide in-person, phone, and remote technical support to end users
Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to maintain system integrity and compliance
Maintain system configurations and technical documentation
Support mobile device provisioning and maintenance for NIPR/SIPR environments
Assist with infrastructure projects and technology deployments
Mentor or assist junior technical staff as needed
Ensure all systems comply with Department of Defense security standards and requirements
Required Qualifications
Active adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance (no waiver)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 10 / Office 365
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent/higher)
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Required Technical Experience
Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
Cisco TMS, switches, routers, meeting management, and meeting server
Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and networking
Extron switchers and extenders
Crestron NVX and AMX AV systems
Unimax UC Management Software
Desired Qualifications
ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
Experience with automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
Understanding of Department of Defense military standards
Strong networking knowledge and communication systems integration experience
Experience using packet capture and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark
Project management experience
ClearOne Certification
Biamp Certification
CTS Certification
Experience loading and pulling code for Crestron and AMX systems
