Job Title: Production Assembler
Job Description
The Production Assembler will be responsible for assembling components of bedding, ensuring proper assembly by working with glue and other materials. This role involves encasing main foam components in fabric, standing on feet for 8-12 hours a day, and working with hands to ensure that materials are properly aligned.
Responsibilities
Assemble bedding components using glue and other materials.
Encapsulate main foam components in fabric.
Ensure materials are correctly processed on the production line.
Lift materials weighing up to 75 lbs as needed.
Operate in a continuous flow manufacturing process.
Execute repetitive processes to meet production and quality standards.
Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
Work in process areas such as Coiling, Foam Encasement, Assembly, Gluing, Sewing, Borders, Quilting, Closing, and Packing.
Essential Skills
3+ years of assembly experience.
3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
Proficiency in using a tape measure.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand on feet for long hours.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with hand tools and power tools.
Familiarity with assembly line processes.
General labor experience.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean and organized warehouse environment. It operates on a 1st shift from 6 AM to 4 PM, with a full 8-hour shift and a 30-minute lunch break. The work environment includes exposure to high noise levels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment is provided for any hazards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
