Program Coordinator – Addiction Studies Program (School of Social Work)
We are seeking a skilled and team‑oriented Program Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative, technical, and programmatic support to the Addiction Studies programs. The Coordinator serves as the central point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and external partners, coordinating student practicum and internship processes, admissions support, advising, faculty support, special projects, events, and day‑to‑day program operations. The Program Coordinator works closely with Program Directors to ensure smooth implementation, compliance, communication, and student success across all program areas.
Responsibilities
Coordinate student practicum and internship operations, including maintaining lists of approved sites, supporting placement processes, and managing acquisition agreements.
Track and maintain enrollment, progression, and program data; provide support with registration, record changes, and grade‑related inquiries.
Maintain and update the program website, marketing materials, flyers, social media accounts, and Canvas pages.
Assist students with admissions, registration, and progression; conduct onboarding and provide academic planning support.
Support Program Directors in program planning, implementation, reporting, and special projects.
Organize and facilitate student orientations, workshops, graduation ceremonies, and special events.
Facilitate faculty access to classrooms, technology, and institutional systems; coordinate with the administrative assistant on supplies and office support.
Attend outreach, recruiting events, and meetings; track outreach metrics and manage program communications.
Provide routine technical and administrative support for hardware, software, and discipline‑specific tools.
Perform general office functions (mail, correspondence, inventory) and assist with budget tracking and ordering supplies.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two (2) years of full‑time professional experience demonstrating strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and web‑based platforms). Experience in website development and maintenance is required.
At least two (2) years of full‑time experience maintaining manual and electronic records and files.
At least two (2) years of full‑time experience handling a high volume of customer service contacts with diverse stakeholders (verbal, phone, email, written). The ability to communicate effectively through multiple channels is essential.
Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that supports universal access for students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Two (2) or more years of experience in a higher‑education environment supporting students.
One (1) or more years of experience using Canvas, EagleNet, Banner, or equivalent systems.
Experience with website and social media development and maintenance.

Salary / Wage Range
Salary range: $44,868 – $51,612. Initial placement within the range depends on education, experience, and skills.
Work Schedule
Regular Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm (with occasional evenings, weekends, or telework as required).
