Production Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position
$19.00 to $20.90 / hour
Full Time work available
Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)
Responsible for ensuring that the production process is run in a smooth and rapid manner: perform all plating, anodizing and chemical cleaning activity per production specifications/instructions and operating procedures.
• Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements
• Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts
• Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing
• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
• Assist all line activities thru to Line Operator to optimize throughput
• Record results on work order (dimensions, tank #, temperature, & volts, Time in /out of tank)
• Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line
Production Technician Qualifications:
• Basic math and measurement skills required
• Able to lift up to 35 - 50 lbs
• Able to walk and stand most of the shift
• Able to fully reach with hands and arms; stoop, twist, kneel, and crouch
• Able to wear full-face respirator if needed
• Specific vision capabilities to include close-up, distance, color recognition, peripheral vision and able to adjust focus and have depth perception
