Lecturer of Screenwriting

The Film & Television department within the College of Arts & Media invites dynamic educators and creative professionals to apply to join our collaborative faculty team as a part-time Lecturer specializing in screenwriting. What you will do:
100% Teaching
Teaching Load: You will teach one or two classes per semester (3-6 credit hours)
Instruction: Your focus will include screenwriting for fiction, non-fiction, and/or episodic television courses.
Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications):
Degree/Experience: MFA or BA
Expertise: 3 years of experience in screenwriting at the professional level.
Teaching: 2 years of experience teaching screenwriting.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $5,371.19 per 3 credit course. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. This position is not eligible for benefits.
