Job Overview
Creative Specialist – Full‑time, 12‑month time‑limited position at Teal Nation Retail.
Responsibilities
- Develop visually appealing, on‑brand designs for various merchandise items, including hard and soft goods.
- Deliver custom designs based on internal and external client requirements and project requests.
- Edit, resize, and optimize graphics for print, embroidery, and laser formats.
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high‑quality standards.
- Create brand and marketing templates for Teal Nation Retail as needed.
- Produce realistic digital renderings and mockups of decorated merchandise to assist the sales team in the proof of concept phase.
- Provide support to all customers with design‑related inquiries, updates, or issues, explaining processes and results to ensure satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- At least two (2) years of experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom) for precision vector artwork, marketing templates, and flyers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
- Experience in decorating merchandise or marketing design.
- Experience with embroidery digitizing software is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must produce files in a fast‑paced environment, troubleshoot production technical issues, resolve color‑matching discrepancies, optimize complex vector paths for manufacturing, and balance long‑term creative projects with urgent marketing requests.
