Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Automation Sr. Manager to lead a squad in the execution, optimization, and performance of marketing automation campaigns, primarily on Marketo. This role is responsible for leading a team of Marketo campaign developers and collaborating cross-functionally with marketing strategy, analytics, sales, and IT teams to design and deliver a portfolio of high-impact journeys and campaigns that drive engagement, acquisition, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

Lead and mentor a team of Marketo campaign developers.

Provide coaching and guidance to the team on scalable campaign build approaches.

Foster a culture of agility, continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

Oversee the end-to-end design and execution of multichannel campaigns in Marketo.

Provide hands-on QA or development support when needed.

Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, error-free, and aligned with brand and compliance standards.

Marketing Operations & Optimization

Identify, measure, and monitor operational KPIs.

Track and monitor campaign performance across the campaign portfolio and provide actionable insights to improve engagement and conversion.

Monitor team capacity and adjust priorities as needed.

Lead optimization efforts for campaigns and journeys that are inefficient or unscalable.

Business Acumen & Stakeholder Management

Translate complex marketing automation concepts and strategies for Marketing, Sales, and IT partners with varying levels of expertise to drive understanding and alignment.

Align campaign development team priorities with organizational goals and KPIs.

Required Qualifications

Strong expertise in Marketo, preferably Marketo Certified.

Experience with Adobe marketing technology stack, particularly Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).

Experience leading marketing automation or campaign operations teams.

Agile Marketing experience.

Strong operational leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance best practices.

Experience working in large enterprise environments.

Hands-on experience with campaign QA and development support.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
