The Proposal Coordinator, working closely with the Proposal Manager, will be responsible for providing support in the preparation of complex proposals in response to both Government and Commercial Sector Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Task Orders including responding to request for proposal (RFP) in support of two distinct companies; ensuring the highest quality of service is provided, remaining consistent with the organization’s policies, procedures and philosophies, collaborating cross-functionally in a matrixed environment, managing multiple RFPs - all under strict deadlines. Must emphasize and support commitment to teamwork and demonstrate a detailed follow-through. The Proposal Coordinator’s main responsibilities include working with Executives, Program Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and Capture and Proposal Managers to effectively coordinate, write, and develop compliant responses to RFPs including additional documents such as past performance references and pricing proposals. Candidates for this position must be capable of writing clear, persuasive and articulate proposal responses with the ability to translate complex, technical procedures and processes into understandable content and messaging.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Capture Management
Identify, track, and develop opportunities for the companies to win.
Represent both companies professionally and effectively with government representatives.
Increase awareness of MedTrust and RVA offerings.
Build and strengthen teaming relationships.
Proposal Management
Interpret and analyze RFP requirements and appropriate data to write proposals that support client/agency solutions and ensures full compliance with all FAR/DFAR clauses and responsiveness to government procurement requirements.
Translate technical information into clear, consistent, and grammatically correct content.
Develop and write pursuit content that articulates our strategic messaging in a compelling and persuasive manner, incorporating comments/recommendations as needed while making sure all timelines are met.
Conduct final quality control and ensure consistency and accuracy.
Work with teaming partners to issue or to respond to data calls.
Responsible for packaging and delivering final proposal.
Able to manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously.
Keep management informed by submitting regular activity and results reports.
Must be able to effectively respond to technical writing requirements.
Coordinate assigned projects independently and with strict adherence to detailed customer specifications.
Create additional documents, including pricing proposals, standard program proposals and ad hoc documents when needed to support the proposal cycle.
Develop and maintain proposal-ready response information materials to utilize as a reference tool to complete future proposals or internal requests.
Research & Analysis
Conduct market research and analysis.
Conduct competition analysis.
Project Management
Monitor and improve proposal artifacts that will aid in better, quicker, and consistent responses.
Contribute to team by participating in TOPR management and contract administration as needed.
Accomplish other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or recent work experience in capture management and proposal writing.
Work Experience
One year of experience in proposal generation.
Preferred (but not required) experience in federal government proposals.
Knowledge and Skills
Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) including strong ability to write, edit and proofread.
Direct practical experience in writing proposals.
Knowledge of proposal development including attending kick-off, building compliance matrices and outlines, participation in reviews, and collaborating on a pursuit from beginning to end. Integrity based judgment and decision-making.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel is required.
Experience working with Adobe InDesign is a plus.
Familiar with using Internet-based market research tools (i.e. GovWin) is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Strong project management skills including ability to prioritize tasks, manage a large number of multi-stage projects and complete them in a timely fashion.
Demonstration of the necessary personality and skills to engage Prime and Subcontractors at all levels is required.
A working knowledge of government and military contracts, GSA, and FAR is desired, but not required.
Security Clearance
None required, but must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Ability to perform under stress.
Varied hours are required occasionally.
Located in office at our Oklahoma City corporate headquarters.

Ability to travel up to 10%
