We are a well-established, growth-oriented independent insurance agency seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to support and service a diverse commercial book of business. Position Overview
The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for servicing and maintaining commercial insurance accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for clients while partnering closely with producers and carrier representatives. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day servicing of a commercial lines book of business

Process policy endorsements, renewals, audits, certificates of insurance, and billing inquiries

Prepare and review renewal marketing proposals and coverage comparisons

Analyze client exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions

Coordinate with carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage

Assist producers with new business submissions and account onboarding

Maintain accurate documentation within the agency management system

Ensure compliance with Massachusetts insurance regulations and carrier guidelines

Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the policy lifecycle, including claims assistance

Build long-term relationships through proactive communication and professionalism

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty Producer License (required)

3+ years of commercial lines insurance experience (agency experience strongly preferred)

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage concepts

Experience servicing small to mid‑market commercial accounts

Familiarity with multiple insurance carriers and underwriting guidelines

Proficiency with agency management system Applied Epic preferred

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
