Sterling Engineering is looking for a Designer I in the Energy sector. This opportunity supports power and utility projects with a mix of field and office-based work.
Job Duties:

Perform field data collection and support outage audits
Assist with planning, design, and project coordination activities
Collect measurements, take photos, and document site conditions
Prepare reports and maintain project documentation
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of work experience
Background or interest in power/energy industry preferred
Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and project information
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to walk at least 1 mile in field conditions and work outdoors
