POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client is expanding their roles in consulting space. We need someone to assist with in the Technical Services division. The roll responsibilities include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meeting with customers to understand their requirements for data center cooling, along with support from sales.

Technical expertise in designing the mechanical aspects in a data center, including:

Outdoor plants

Indoor primary networks

Secondary networks

Air handlers (CRAC and CRAH)

Rear door

Experience and understanding of the requirements for data center commissioning.

Familiarity with the aspects outside of mechanical and plumbing in a data center, for example:

Rough understanding of power distribution after the breaker box

Rough understanding of other elements in a data center, including conveyance, Client, etc.

Applicants will be expected to perform technical calculations, sizing, and stamp ready designs after meeting with the customers.

Applicant will have drafters and other supporting staff to assist with stamp ready designs.

Position is fully remote, with a requirement to travel at least 10%.

Education / Certifications / Experience

Must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of five years of experience designing data centers. Experience with liquid-to-the-chip cooling is a must.

Have a Professional Engineer (PE) stamp is a plus.

Ideal candidates will have consulting experience, such as a position at an engineering firm.
