As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for a strategic, resourceful, and data-driven Marketing Director who can help us double sales within the next year and establish our brand as a go-to leader in the transformer space for service, rentals, and sales.

Position Overview

The Marketing director will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the company's full-funnel marketing strategy — from brand positioning and digital presence to lead generation and customer engagement. This role requires a strong strategic thinker who is hands-on, creative, and comfortable operating with a lean budget and team. You will partner closely with sales leadership, leverage trusted third-party vendors, and build a scalable marketing engine that fuels rapid growth in a highly technical, B2B industrial market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

Define and strengthen the company's market positioning, value proposition, and brand identity.

Build short-term wins while setting up long-term scalable systems for sustainable growth.

Partner with executive leadership to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, product roadmap, and company priorities.

Demand Generation & Growth

Own lead generation strategies across digital, outbound, partner, and channel marketing.

Stand up and enhance key marketing systems (website, CRM integrations, email automation, analytics).

Establish KPIs, track ROI, and consistently optimize performance across channels.

Build campaign strategies to target priority markets: utilities, industrials, EPCs, distributors, renewable developers, and service providers.

Brand & Digital Marketing

Oversee and optimize the company's website, messaging, and UX to position the company as an industry leader.

Manage SEO, content marketing, social media, and paid campaigns to increase visibility and brand trust.

Develop compelling product and technical content (case studies, sales enablement materials, landing pages, video, etc.).

Vendor & Partner Management

Manage third-party vendors, including digital agencies, creative partners, SEO firms, and freelancers.

Negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and ensure external resources deliver high-impact results within budget.

Build a reliable, scalable vendor ecosystem that allows the company to operate with a lean internal team.

Operational Excellence

Create efficient marketing processes, reporting systems, and workflows that maximize output per dollar.

Oversee CRM data hygiene, segmentation, and lead workflow alignment with the sales team.

Maintain tight control of the marketing budget with a performance-first mindset.

Identify market trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead of industry shifts.

Qualifications

Required
