The

Trade Marketing Manager

is responsible for spearheading national, regional and account-specific trade marketing opportunities for FIJI Water, and managing the Assistant Manager, Trade Marketing.

The role requires a strong understanding of Retail and On Premise channels, accounts, shopper marketing strategies and tactics, ROI analysis and volume forecasting, and general consumer and customer marketing principles. Strong initiative and planning, project management, organization, and attention to detail are essential in this role.

This position works cross-functionally with Retail Sales, On Premise Sales, eCommerce, Brand Marketing, PR & Events, Category Management, Sourcing, Finance, and our in-house creative agency as well as with multiple external partners and vendors.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

Spearhead the development of the U.S. trade marketing strategy in partnership with U.S. Sales and Brand Marketing, ensuring alignment to commercial priorities while delivering against the annual calendar and key focus periods

Lead all trade and shopper marketing programs and toolkits for the U.S. Sales (Retail, On-Premise) team at the national, regional, and retailer-specific level, including consumer sweepstakes, cross-promotions, and coupon programs that drive secondary display and incremental volume

Develop account-specific point-of-sale materials in close collaboration with Brand Marketing, Sales, internal design teams, and external vendors, ensuring brand consistency and in-market effectiveness

Own and manage the annual trade marketing budget, including planning, tracking, and optimization of spend to maximize ROI

Evaluate promotional effectiveness using Circana, Margin Minder, and internal sales data, translating insights into actionable recommendations to improve performance

Create and manage coupon programs end-to-end, including execution, tracking, and analysis of redemption to inform future optimization

Administer and maintain the SharePoint site, ensuring timely distribution of marketing materials to the Sales team and delivering clear, consistent weekly sales communications

Oversee POS fulfillment vendor operations, ensuring accuracy, cost efficiency, and on‑time delivery of materials

Occasional travel to support sales meetings and key account engagements

Qualifications

4+ years of progressive experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing, or commercial marketing within CPG or Food & Beverage

Proven track record of developing and executing national and account-specific trade marketing strategies that drive measurable sales lift and ROI

Demonstrated experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment

Strong business and financial acumen, with ability to manage budgets, evaluate trade spend effectiveness, and optimize investment across programs

Advanced experience with syndicated data (Circana or similar), trade analytics tools, and translating insights into actionable recommendations

Proven ability to build annual trade calendars, align to brand priorities, and deliver against volume and revenue targets

Demonstrated experience working with creative partners and external POS vendors

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable plans for internal and external stakeholders

Strong organizational skills and operational rigor, including budget management, forecasting, and program tracking

Bachelor’s degree required, business major preferred

Pay Range: $110,000 to $120,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
