Our client, a fast-growing global conference organizer in the financial technology space, is seeking a Sponsorship Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across its international events portfolio.
This is a high-impact role focused on generating sponsorship revenue across flagship events in North America and EMEA. You’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle, from building pipeline through to closing and renewals, while working with a diverse client base ranging from high-growth startups to global financial institutions.
The position is highly target-driven and suited to a commercially minded professional who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and is confident engaging senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive sponsorship revenue targets across a global events portfolio
Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective sponsors across fintech, finance, and related sectors
Lead full sales cycle including outreach, pitching, negotiation, closing, and renewal
Develop tailored sponsorship packages aligned to client objectives (brand visibility, lead generation, thought leadership)
Build long-term relationships with sponsors, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Engage and influence senior decision-makers including C-suite and marketing leaders
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and content teams
Track pipeline performance, forecast revenue, and consistently exceed KPI targets
Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
About You / Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in sponsorship sales, ideally in the finance or technology space
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high-performance environment
Strong experience managing full sales cycles and closing complex deals
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders
