Citizens of Humanity Group is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our growing team in Los Angeles. We are looking for a highly creative, culturally aware digital storyteller with a deep understanding of the evolving social landscape and a strong instinct for what resonates online.
This role will work across both women’s and men’s divisions, helping shape and elevate the digital presence of our brands through compelling, brand-right content and thoughtful storytelling. The ideal candidate is immersed in fashion, culture, and social media trends, with a strong eye for aesthetics, community engagement, and emerging platforms.
Working closely with the Communications & Brand Marketing, E-Commerce, Creative, and PR teams, this person will help drive brand awareness, audience growth, and digital engagement while ensuring a cohesive and elevated voice across all channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand, marketing, and e-commerce goals
- Manage day-to-day social media platforms across all channels
- Create compelling content for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging channels
- Oversee copywriting to ensure messaging is thoughtful, engaging, and aligned with each brand’s voice
- Help shape and evolve each brand’s online personality and digital community presence
- Translate broader brand and marketing initiatives – including sustainability, craftsmanship, product storytelling, and partnerships – into engaging social content
- Identify opportunities to grow audience, engagement, and conversion across platforms
- Partner closely with PR and Marketing teams on influencer strategy and identify creators aligned with the brands’ aesthetic and values
- Manage creator partnerships, including day-to-day communication with talent and agencies
- Track, analyze, and report on social performance including engagement, growth, traffic, and conversion metrics
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience within an agency or in-house marketing team
- Experience managing content calendars tied to product launches, campaigns, and brand moments
- Strong understanding of analytics and social media management platforms
- Experience managing influencer relationships and campaigns
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Ability to create high-quality, engaging photo and video content
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- A proactive, high-energy, self-starter mentality
- Strong understanding of fashion, culture, and the Citizens of Humanity Group brand aesthetic
- Collaborative team player with a positive and solutions-oriented approach
- Video editing skills preferred
- Experience with paid social advertising across Meta and TikTok preferred
This is a full-time, in-person role based out of our Creative Studio in Downtown Los Angeles.
