About the Role
The Director of Audience Targeting & Measurement owns the product strategy and execution for privacy‑first audience targeting, measurement, and activation capabilities across Warner Bros. Discovery’s Direct‑to‑Consumer (DTC) portfolio.
You will ensure that advertising and marketing teams can responsibly activate first‑party data, and drive growth, while honoring global privacy regulations, consumer consent, and platform requirements. You will operate at the intersection of Advertising, Marketing, Privacy, and Data, translating regulatory and consent signals into scalable, high‑impact advertising and marketing products. You will oversee a team of Product Managers & partner with internal stakeholders to manage and build a product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the global product vision and roadmap for audience targeting and measurement, grounded in privacy‑by‑design principles.
Lead strategy for how consumer consent, preferences, and privacy signals inform audience eligibility, activation, and measurement across advertising and marketing use cases.
Partner with Ads, Marketing, Growth, and Analytics teams to evolve audience targeting and measurement capabilities that maximize addressability, performance, and yield within regulatory and platform constraints.
Enable compliant use of first‑party data, ensuring alignment between consent frameworks, data governance, and activation workflows.
Drive solutions that improve audience match rates and scale in programmatic environments, adapting to identity loss and platform signal changes.
Partner closely with AdSales, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Privacy Legal, and AdTech teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver scalable global solutions.
Demonstrates a strong growth mindset and adapts quickly to AI innovations.
Define success metrics and KPIs to assess targeting effectiveness, audience scale, consented reach, and measurement accuracy.
Lead and develop a team of Product Managers focused on audience targeting, measurement, and privacy‑aware data products.
Set a high bar for product rigor, data‑driven decision‑making, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Oversee competitive analysis and research initiatives to keep a pulse on ad industry standards and growth opportunities.
Comfortably communicate and present product vision to executive and senior level leadership.
Partner with peers in Product Management to ensure alignment with general product vision and integration into a unified & prioritized roadmap.
Mentor, manage and guide other product managers, communicating clear vision, goals and priorities that drive professional development, personal growth and a positive working environment.
Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of product management experience, with deep expertise in AdTech, audience targeting, audience measurement, data platforms, or privacy‑regulated products.
Experience/knowledge in advertising and/or advertising product, preferably in the streaming / media space.
Experience with DSP driven advertising ecosystems is a plus.
Experience in people management, managing a team product managers is required.
Proven success leveraging data and identifying trends to deliver product optimizations and recommendations.
Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to solving practical problems using AI.
Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and the ability to react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Product artifacts (PRDs, PRFAQs, etc.) are clear and concise.
Excellent presentation skills. Demonstrates ability to tailor content for the audience, materials are high quality, and effectively runs product review sessions.
