Overview
At Grafton Integrated Health Network, help individuals in our Home and Community Based (HCBS) Adult program with complex needs live their best lives. As a Program Support Supervisor, you'll give leadership and hands-on support to ensure the safety, stability, and success of individuals and staff. You'll model and guide positive behavior support strategies, handle crisis intervention, and foster teamwork, accountability, and compassion.

Job Summary
Under general supervision, you will provide on-duty coordination on a regional basis for an assigned shift. On-duty functions involve ensuring adequate staffing levels and coverage for programs, assigning substitutes and personnel to accommodate staffing shortages, coordinating emergency and crisis intervention responses, and documenting all shift activities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate on-duty activities such as monitoring staff departures, controlling access to restricted areas, directing staff during emergencies, and providing crisis intervention consultation.

Ensure adequate staffing coverage by assigning substitutes to programs and work sites as needed.

Provide first aid to injured staff and clients. Oversee disposal of bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials.

Channel necessary information with program staff and supervisors.

Report and oversee the documentation of allegations of consumer neglect or abuse and any consumer suicidal statements, gestures, or attempts.

Oversee and implement crisis intervention strategies as needed; ensure incidents are documented and reported properly.

Coordinate the use of Grafton vehicles and administer medications in the absence of a nurse.

Prepare varied documentation for shift activities, including daily communication logs, department payroll, attendance and leave records, etc.

Oversee maintenance of OSHA and first aid supplies.

Ensure policies and procedures are properly implemented for the shift.

Provide administrative support for assigned duties such as audits, filing, copying, and mailing.

Participate in training and weekly staffing meetings.

Perform other work as assigned.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in human services and 1 year of professional experience performing administrative duties and/or responding to incidents and providing crisis interventions; or

High school graduate or G.E.D. with 2 years of professional experience performing administrative duties and/or responding to incidents and providing crisis interventions.

Valid driver's license.

Compensation

$21.13 - $31.69/hour commensurate with experience.

Depending on hours worked you may be eligible for Grafton's shift differential that is currently being offered.
