ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for an inspirational leader who can direct our professional marketing efforts, translating customer insights into innovative customer experiences for our potential launch product in PBC. This person will lead a team of professionals who will be responsible for the development of impactful programs that will drive customer uptake in the rare PBC market.

The Lead for Professional Marketing is responsible for partnering with Business insights to uncover barriers and opportunities for the business and translate those insights into breakthrough communications across all channels that reach the HCP customer. This work will be completed in concert with their direct team, the broader marketing team as well as the sales, analytics and medical teams, and their agency partners. Partnering closely with the Analytics team, this person will also help translate insights into meaningful direction for the Sales team. In a similar fashion, this person will partner closely with Medical to craft the commercial implications of any new science, as well as identify market opportunities where data gaps exist. This focus will help drive the long term vision the asset.

This position reports to the SVP, Commercial Strategy and Analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish a framework to gain ongoing customer insights and be able to translate those insights into unmet needs in the disease

Partner with Sales team to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategy

Partner with the Medical team to ensure alignment on data gaps in the marketplace

Drive innovation in the launch plan, partnering with the agency partners to identify new awareness vehicles to drive trial and uptake in the first year of launch

Partner with training team to ensure strong scientific knowledge as well as competitive selling skills

Execute 1-2 test initiatives to continue to drive learning

Model good business conduct and adherence with applicable laws, regulations, rules and codes

Drive a high performance culture on the commercial team by fostering innovation, customer focus, personal accountability and commitment for results

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree (MBA) preferred.

Minimum of 7-9 years specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnology marketing experience

9-12 years of overall pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial experience.

Specialty/rare disease experience is required.

Prior therapeutic experience in hepatology is preferred

Leads effectively in a fast-paced environment

Exhibits big picture thinking, while also being disciplined and detailed oriented

Is regarded as a proactive, supportive and collaborative partner

Operates well in an evolving organizational structure with minimal direction.

Uses strong analytical skills to conduct both qualitative and quantitative assessments.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Willing to take on increasing responsibility as Zydus Therapeutics grows.

At least 5 years of leadership experience with direct reports

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
The position will require domestic travel (up to 25%).
