About dae:

At dae, we are a clean haircare brand that is rooted in scent sorial beauty and storytelling. Our name, dae, comes from the sun’s circadian rhythm, dawn, afternoon and evening. As the sun rises, shines and sets, the desert comes alive with dreamy aromas, textures and vibrant colors that inspire how our products look, smell and perform. We believe haircare should be as effortless, scent sorial and as beautiful as these daely moments.

Our team is small but mighty, made up of highly collaborative, creative individuals who value each other and work together to make our (big!) vision a reality. If you are a seasoned, highly strategic and solution-oriented operations professional with deep experience in the beauty industry and deep experience working with both Brick & Mortar Wholesale and eCommerce platforms… we would love to meet you!

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Director of Influencer Marketing to build and scale dae’s influencer program into a best‑class engine for brand love and growth. This role is deeply relationship-driven but also highly strategic and data-driven‑focused on creating meaningful,long-term partnerships with creators while bringing the brand to life through thoughtful campaigns, events, and experiences.

You are someone who lives and breathes the creator world: a natural connector who builds trust easily, has a strong point of view on talent, and knows how to turn relationships into impactful brand moments. You’re just as comfortable hosting a creator at an event as you are managing campaign details and also understand how to use data and insights to guide decisions, prioritize investments, and measure impact.

What you’ll do:

Build and scale a multi-tiered influencer strategy across VIP, macro, mid-tier, micro, and emerging creators

Shape how dae shows up across influencer channels—from always‑on presence to key brand and retail moments

Develop ambassador and long‑term partnership programs that drive authentic, sustained brand love

Continuously evolve the program based on cultural trends, platform shifts, and brand priorities

Relationship & Talent Management

Serve as a primary point of contact for influencers, agents, and managers, building strong, trusted relationships

Leverage an existing network while proactively identifying and nurturing new, culturally relevant talent

Lead all outreach, negotiations, and partnership management with a focus on long-term value, in partnership with agencies as needed.

Create a best‑in‑class experience for creators working with dae, making the brand a favorite partner

Campaign Execution & Operations

Own end‑to‑end execution of influencer campaigns, including briefing, timelines, deliverables, and approvals

Manage day‑to‑day communication with creators and agencies to ensure seamless execution

Partner cross‑functionally with brand, social, PR, paid media and retail teams to bring integrated campaigns to life

Ensure a consistent, always‑on influencer presence across key platforms

Experiences & Community Building

Concept and execute influencer events, trips, and brand experiences that bring dae to life in a meaningful way

Oversee gifting and seeding strategies, including high‑impact mailers and surprise‑and‑delight moments

Build a sense of community among dae creators through ongoing engagement and relationship building

Identify opportunities for IRL connection that deepen brand affinity and loyalty

Insights & Optimization

Leverage performance insights & creator feedback to refine partnerships, improve campaign impact, inform strategy, and prioritize opportunities

Lead monthly and quarterly reporting for influencer program results, analyzing key learnings and providing recommendations for improvement

Establish clear KPIs across campaigns while balancing brand‑building and performance goals

Test and learn across tiers, formats, and platforms to continuously improve effectiveness

Team, Agency & Budget Management

Manage and mentor one direct report, fostering a strong, collaborative, relationship‑first team culture

Oversee external agencies and partners as needed

Own influencer budget, ensuring thoughtful allocation across talent, experiences, and campaigns

Identify tools and platforms to support scaling the program

Experience / Qualifications:

8–10 years of experience in influencer marketing, talent partnerships, or related roles (beauty brand experience highly preferred)

Strong understanding of the influencer landscape and emerging creators

Comfortable using data and insights to inform decisions and measure success

Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building within a fast‑growing brand
