We are seeking a National Sales Manager to lead and accelerate our next phase of growth. This individual will oversee national sales strategy, manage key distributor and retail relationships, and drive execution across both on‑ and off‑premise channels.
The National Sales Manager will serve as the primary driver of revenue growth across Blind Tiger’s distributor network nationwide. This role is responsible for owning and scaling current distributor relationships, while actively expanding sales through strong connections with key retail and on‑premise partners.
The ideal candidate brings an established network within beverage/CPG, with direct relationships across distributors, chains, and on‑premise groups—and knows how to leverage those relationships to open doors, drive velocity, and build market presence. This individual will oversee statewide performance, while identifying, recruiting, and developing local sales support within each market.
This is a highly commercial role that blends strategic planning, hands‑on execution, and network‑driven sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Own and grow all distributor relationships across assigned states, serving as the primary point of contact and performance driver
Leverage existing industry relationships to unlock new retail and on‑premise opportunities within each market
Build and execute market‑level strategies across statewide accounts, ensuring alignment with key chain and independent partners
Identify, recruit, and manage local brokers, reps, or field support within distributor networks to expand reach and execution
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and ongoing touchpoints to align on goals, priorities, and growth plans
Sales Growth & Market Expansion
Drive new account acquisition across grocery, specialty, and on‑premise through distributor teams and direct relationships
Partner with distributor sales teams to increase velocity, distribution, and display execution across all channels
Actively support and influence key chain calls, leveraging relationships where possible
Identify underperforming markets and deploy targeted action plans to accelerate growth
Collaborate with marketing to execute high‑impact activations, demos, and promotional programs that convert to sales
Execution & Accountability
Ensure flawless execution of pricing, promotions, and new item launches across all markets
Manage promotional spend, MCBs, OIs, and chargebacks with a strong focus on ROI
Implement and enforce consistent scorecards to track distribution, depletions, and execution quality across distributors
Analytics & Performance Management
Own depletion and shipment tracking across all distributor partners
Deliver clear, actionable monthly performance reviews with insights and next steps
Track and improve key KPIs including active accounts, distribution gains, display execution, and gross‑to‑net performance
Cross‑Functional Leadership
Partner closely with leadership to align supply, demand, and growth strategy
Provide real‑time market feedback to inform product, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategy
Represent Blind Tiger at key industry events, distributor meetings, and trade shows
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in beverage or CPG sales, with a focus on distributor or wholesale management
Established relationships with key distributors, retail chains, and/or on‑premise groups
Proven ability to drive sales growth through both strategic planning and direct relationship building
Deep understanding of the three‑tier system, DSD, and/or KeHE models
Experience overseeing multi‑state or statewide accounts and building local market support structures
Strong commercial instincts with an ability to translate strategy into execution
Highly proactive, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in a fast‑growing environment
Willingness to travel 10–20%
