Public Relations Manager Job at SR Staffing in New York

A leading global law firm seeks a Public Relations Manager to support its litigation practice. This role serves as a strategic advisor and media relations lead, developing and executing PR and communications initiatives to elevate the profile of the practice and its partners.
Based in New York or Washington, DC with a hybrid option.
Key Responsibilities

Manage proactive and reactive media relations and press outreach
Lead strategic writing and messaging (press releases, case notes, awards, web content)
Promote thought leadership across media, digital, and social channels
Support PR campaigns tied to events and firm initiatives in coordination with communications and BD teams
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Qualifications

Must have experience either working at a law firm or supporting Am Law Clients
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in PR/communications
Experience supporting litigation practices and familiarity with the legal industry
Strong leadership, writing, and stakeholder management skills
