Stage Director for High School Musical Production
Vergennes Union High School is seeking a creative, organized, and enthusiastic stage director for our fall high school musical production. This is a contracted position for the duration of the production season. The ideal candidate will work closely with the production team, including the Music Director, Choreographer, and Technical Crew to bring a dynamic and educational theatrical experience to life for our students and community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of staging and direction for the musical production.
- Conduct auditions and cast the show in collaboration with the production team.
- Develop and communicate a clear artistic vision for the show.
- Run rehearsals and scene work while maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
- Attend production meetings and coordinate with school staff volunteers.
Job Requirements
- Experience directing musical theatre productions at the high school or community level.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students and staff.
- Knowledge of theater production elements, including staging and character development.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
