At the Bridgewater State University Writing Studio, friendly peer consultants provide helpful feedback to student writers working at all levels of the writing process. They provide support for any form of writing, regardless of the genre or course discipline.
Responsibilities
The Writing Studio consultant will be responsible for providing students with feedback on their writing or supporting them in generating ideas in a friendly, caring manner.
Please Note:
Filling out this application is the second step in our hiring process; the first step is to submit two writing samples, one of which should be in an academic genre. If you haven’t already submitted writing samples via our AAC application, you may email them to Writing Studio Director Wendy Rockne (wrockne@bridgew.edu).

Ability to “meet students where they are” rather than seeing them as deficient
Requirement
Must be able to take ENGL 204 during the first two semesters that you work in the Writing Studio. ENGL 204 is a one-unit class (repeatable for credit) that meets on Mondays from 1:50-2:40pm.
