$70,000 – 100,000, based on experience

In partnership with a longstanding client of ours, we are seeking a detail oriented, independent, and driven Program Manager to build and lead core programming initiatives to help build out early stage processes and engagement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

3+ years of experience in Operations, Administration, or Program Management

Experience coordinating and planning events

Experience with digital media platforms including social media and websites

The Ideal Candidate Is:

Independent, proactive self-starter who can operate with minimal direction

Strong ability to work in ambiguous, startup‑like environments

Strategic thinker with strong execution and follow‑through

Proven experience managing or running programs end‑to‑end

Comfortable taking initiative, solving problems, and knowing when to escalate

Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skill

Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of programming including speaker series, seminars, and conferences

Build and maintain program structure, workflows, and operational cadence

Oversee advancement and growth of program initiatives aligned with organizational mission and goals

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across academic and research communities

Support branding and visibility efforts, including early‑stage social media and website content management

Collaborate with leadership and finance partners to manage budgets and ensure fiscal responsibility

Identify opportunities for process improvement, program enhancement, and increased engagement

Support tracking and reporting systems to monitor program performance and impact

Build and execute structured calendar of events, seminars, and speaker programs

Establish foundational branding and outreach strategy

Develop early‑stage social media presence and communications plan

Create operational systems and workflows to support program growth

Ensure consistent execution of early programming initiatives

In future phases, support partnership development, grant‑related activities, and external funding initiatives
