What are your responsibilities?
As
Talent Manager , you design and implement a forward-looking talent strategy for white- and blue-collar roles in Belgium and at HQ. You ensure employees have the tools and support to grow and perform at their best.
You translate business priorities into impactful HR processes and initiatives, working closely with HR Business Partners, leaders, and managers to embed talent development across the organization.
As part of the Center of Excellence (CoE) at Deceuninck, you collaborate with the Talent Manager for senior leaders to ensure alignment of talent strategies across all levels.
Your key responsibilities include:
Talent & development : define and deliver development programs for functional, leadership, and digital skills. Guide managers to foster a culture of feedback, coaching, and support employees in embracing new ways of working.
LMS & training:
in collaboration with the learning coordinator implement and optimize the Learning Management System to support development programs, track learning impact, and ensure knowledge is applied effectively on the job. Own learning initiatives end-to-end, from planning to measuring outcomes.
Performance management:
design and manage a consistent performance framework, enabling managers to set clear objectives, conduct constructive performance discussions, and link employee development to organizational goals.
Talent reviews:
organize structured talent discussions to identify high-potential employees, monitor development trajectories in collaboration with HR Managers and HRBPs, and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
Project management:
lead HR projects end-to-end, including new development programs, digital transformation initiatives, and organizational change projects. Manage timelines, resources, and stakeholders to deliver results.
Metrics & reporting:
monitor and report on key talent metrics to measure the effectiveness of programs and support data-driven decision-making.
You will report to the CHRO of the Deceuninck Group and will become part of a passionate and driven team of 11 HR professionals (worldwide more than 30 HR experts).
Who we are looking for
Master’s degree in Psychology, Economics, Communication, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in Learning & Development, Performance Management, and/or Talent Reviews ideally across multiple sectors and preferably in an industrial context.
Experience implementing and optimizing LMS platforms or other learning tools.
Strong project management skills, able to lead HR initiatives from concept to execution.
Experience in international or matrix organizations is a plus.
Experience in change management or digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
Strategic, pragmatic, and results-oriented, with resilience and adaptability to drive talent initiatives successfully.
Act as a trusted advisor, influencing talent-related decisions and inspiring managers and employees.
