Group Sales Coordinator position has two areas of focus:
Administrative efforts to maximize the group sales business in achieving occupancy and financial goals for Kohler owned hospitality businesses. Responsible for providing full support of dedicated Sales Manager(s), fulfill administrative duties and extensive communication throughout resort and with the conference services team.
Additionally, this role will undertake targeted sales projects and solicit for additional business (outside and inside sales calls) as directed by the DOS and Sales Executives.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Responsibilities
Generate proposals within 12 hours and complete all client contracts within 24 hours.
Respond to client emails in a timely manner (24 hours max).
Communicate contract due dates and proactively follow up with clients.
Create, develop and produce clean and accurate reports for the purpose of managing and measuring the performance of the Sales Team.
Create, develop and produce clean and accurate communication to internal and external customers.
Provide consistent and timely delivery of services to clients.
Act as liaison between Sales and Conference Services to ensure the client's needs are clearly transitioned from Sales to Conference Services.
Coordinate the dissemination of “Topline Reports” to sales managers – as directed by ADOS.
Review and red-line (as appropriate) contract addendums for approval by Sales Manager and final approval by ADOS.
Sales Responsibilities
Make monthly phone calls to past groups (definite and turndown) as assigned from ADOS (from Topline Reports).
Make prospecting calls on behalf of Sales Managers and schedule appointments as assigned from ADOS and Sales Manager.
Conduct site visits for qualified clients.
Actively pursue additional revenues in group sales through solicitation of companies and organizations.
Create and execute marketing plan for strategic target-markets as defined by Sales Manager and ADOS.
Organize assigned event(s) (fam trip, offsite promotion, etc) complete with timeline for completion while maintaining approved budget.
This is a full-time position. Hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday.
Skills/Requirements
Four Year College Degree preferable.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with Delphi and Resort Suite highly preferred
Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Excellent phone skills
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The hourly range for this position is $22.50 - $33.80. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
