General Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity in the most cost‑efficient manner possible while still maintaining customer specifications. The supervisor must meet all reporting requirements for the area of supervision.

Responsibilities

Train and provide an environment for employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance.

Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products and machines to effectively and efficiently utilize departmental policies and procedures while maintaining safety, quality and overall company personnel satisfaction.

Manage employee performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback.

Promote department and company goodwill through pro‑active employee communication and involvement.

Investigate, in cooperation with other departments, areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvement, yield control and equipment maintenance and provide suggestions.

Promote safety throughout the area where crew is working.

Monitor product by paying attention to efficiencies and quality.

Review equipment for proper functions and maintain a clean environment.

Ensure employees are reported for work and put proper alternates in place if absent.

Observe correct and safe performance of jobs.

Update maintenance with any equipment or machinery problems.

Suggest methods to improve production efficiencies.

Troubleshoot equipment operations.

Guarantee product meets customer specification every hour.

Adjust production according to raw material received.

Recommend ways to run equipment and machinery more effectively.

Qualifications

1 or more years of previous supervisory experience.

Previous leadership experience with 20+ employees.

Experience in poultry or food industry a plus.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Capable of independent decision‑making.

Basic computer knowledge.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Must be able to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends.

High School Diploma or GED required; college degree in related field preferred.
