JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Private Fund Services to support Ultimus Fund Solutions’ private capital business, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and other alternative investment structures. This role is responsible for end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of product- and segment-specific marketing programs that support awareness, engagement, and sales enablement for private fund clients and prospects.


JOB DUTIES

Strategy

  • Define marketing priorities in alignment with go-to-market strategies for Ultimus Private Fund Services.
  • Help define messaging and positioning for Private Fund Services across channels including hosted events, website, social media, paid media, industry publications, and through co-marketing initiatives.
  • Identify campaign themes aligned to market developments, product and sales priorities.
  • Help define ideal client profiles for private fund prospects and develop account‑based marketing strategies that prioritize high‑value accounts, consultants, influencers, and buying groups.
  • Help define, own, and manage marketing budget for Ultimus Private Fund Services.
  • Participate in annual strategy planning with commercial and private fund services business leadership.
  • Ongoing audit of key competitor activities.
  • Participate in relevant monthly product steering committee meetings.

Content and campaign execution

  • Identify market trends to inform content and campaign development.
  • Create and manage a calendar (annual, quarterly, monthly) for high quality content across the private fund business and various customer segments.
  • Create blogs, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, videos, and collateral for private fund audiences.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to translate technical and regulatory topics into clear market-facing content.
  • Own strategy and development for sales enablement materials including pitch decks, fact sheets, and product overviews.
  • Manage vendors, agencies, and other third parties as needed to achieve campaign goals.
  • Lead the strategy for industry events (e.g., GAIM, SuperReturn, PEI forums); pre-event outreach and post-event lead nurturing to ensure maximum ROI from sponsorships. Occasionally join sales and business teams at key events.

Digital and integrated marketing

  • Collaborate with demand generation and corporate marketing on digital campaigns, press releases, and landing pages.
  • Support webinar and virtual event development, promotion, and follow-up.

Performance tracking and optimization

  • Monitor engagement and campaign metrics and provide insights to leadership.
  • Refine messaging and content based on performance data and sales feedback

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7-10 years experience in B2B marketing, ideally in financial services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field

• Proven track record of owning end-to-end strategy for messaging, positioning, and buyer segmentation for B2B product and service lines.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for various audiences.

• Strong stakeholder management skills.

• Travel may be required up 10%.
