We’re still actively hiring for an Automotive Advertising Agency Senior Account Executive role focused on mid-size automotive dealership accounts. The ideal candidate will lead insights-driven campaigns, nurture client relationships, and oversee a dedicated team. This position demands a profound grasp of digital and traditional media, strategic thinking, and a proactive problem-solving approach in a fast-paced, creative environment.


We strongly value hands-on writing, campaign development, and the ability to independently manage accounts as your own “mini ship in the fleet.” This role is not just about coordination. It’s about helping shape creative direction, building long-term campaign strategies, and driving results from concept through execution.


This is a highly hands-on position within the agency. Beyond client communication and strategic oversight, candidates are expected to actively participate in the day-to-day workflow, including campaign writing, job coordination, manufacturer compliance submissions, co-op coordination, and internal production processes. The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating both as a strategic partner to clients and as an active contributor within the agency environment, helping move projects from concept through approval, production, and final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:


Client & Account Management

• Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring seamless campaign execution

• Foster strong, trust-centered relationships with dealership clients and agency teams

• Supervise all advertising and communications to maintain project timelines and budgets

• Take ownership of accounts with an entrepreneurial mindset and proactive communication

• Be available and willing to travel for client meetings, dealership visits, and production shoots as needed


Creative, Writing & Strategy Leadership

• Formulate and present innovative advertising strategies customized for automotive retail

• Assist with campaign writing, messaging development, and creative positioning

• Collaborate closely with the creative team, offering precise guidance and feedback

• Validate that all creative efforts align with brand goals and consumer insights

• Help develop long-term campaign structures instead of one-off advertising approaches


Campaign Execution & Performance

• Direct multi-channel marketing efforts encompassing TV, digital, social, radio, and print

• Manage production schedules to ensure departmental cohesion

• Coordinate job entry, manufacturer compliance submissions, and co-op processes

• Evaluate campaign performance and provide data-backed recommendations

• Coordinate internally across production, media, copy, and design teams


Financial & Operational Oversight

• Handle estimates, invoicing, and account budgeting effectively

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality

• Promptly resolve financial inquiries and billing discrepancies

Team Leadership & Growth

• Guide junior team members toward professional growth

• Foster inter-departmental collaboration for impactful campaigns

• Stay informed about industry trends to provide innovative solutions to clients


Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of account management experience, preferably in automotive advertising

• Strong writing and campaign development abilities

• Proficiency in digital and social media marketing strategies

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities

• Strong project management skills with a focus on precision and efficiency

• Ability to independently lead accounts while collaborating within a larger agency environment

• Comfort working in both strategic and operational aspects of campaign execution

• Enthusiasm for the automotive sector and a discerning eye for creative excellence
