Athletics Event And Facilities Coordinator
The Athletics Event and Facilities Coordinator advances Principia by coordinating and supporting the daily operations of the Athletics Department through the coordination of athletics facilities, event operations, rentals, and summer programming. Reporting to Director of Athletics, this role assists in ensuring athletic facility and event operations run smoothly and collaborates closely with the Director of Auxiliary Programming to support the alignment and execution of summer camps and external programming. Success in this role draws on strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to follow established processes while supporting a high-quality experience for all users of Principia's facilities.

Primary Responsibilities
Facility and Event Operations
Coordinates day-to-day operations of athletic facilities under the direction of the Director of Athletics
Maintains and updates the master facilities use schedule based on established priorities and direction
Assists with the coordination and execution of home athletic events, including setup and breakdown
Supports and follows established facility use policies, procedures, and guidelines
Manages equipment maintenance and submits work orders as needed
Supports internal facility usage requests and escalates questions or conflicts as needed
Builds and maintains strong working relationships with Athletics staff, Campus Security, Facilities, and other campus partners
Facility Rentals and External Partnerships
Processes facility rental requests, including scheduling, preparing contracts, invoicing, and communication, using established procedures
Communicates with external rental groups regarding logistics and provides customer service support
Supports positive relationships with rental partners through responsive communication and coordination
Coordinates logistics with Campus Security and Facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations
Ensures rental usage is accurately reflected in the master schedule to maximize facility utilization and escalates conflicts
Summer Camps and Auxiliary Programming
Assists in the planning, organization, and execution of summer camps and programs
Works with the Director of Auxiliary Programming to coordinate logistics and scheduling
Collaborates with head coaches and program leaders to support camp operations
Coordinates with Campus Security, Facilities, and Dining Services to ensure a positive camp experience
Additional Duties and Requirements
Serves as Administrator on Duty for select home athletic events
Maintains CPR/First Aid certification
Completes required MSHSAA courses as needed
Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
Works evenings and weekends as required

Minimum Qualifications
Student of Christian Science preferred
Supportive of Principia's guiding statements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
One or more years of experience in facilities operations, event coordination, athletics, or a related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, and general technology tools

We offer a competitive starting salary range for this position: $44,581- $58,847 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
