area is seeking a

Production Engineer . This position will focus on maintaining & improving overall company production. The ideal candidate will have a combination of Quality & project management experience (IATF 16949 preferred). This is a full-time direct-hire position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Production Engineer

Responsibilities:
Address, investigate, & solve Quality issues
Monitor scrap, waste, cost, etc. (raw material usage)
Contribute to FMEAs, PPAPs, control plans, etc.
Contribute to development & execution of new process & process changes
Work with production team – address equipment issues – determine resolution
Support other departments (new product development & tooling design)
Create & maintain process procedures & work instructions
Production Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related
Quality knowledge preferred (IATF 16949)
Rubber or polymer mixing experience preferred
Strong project management skills
Attention to detail & strong organizational skills
Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge
Ability to work in a multicultural environment responsibly & effectively
Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
