Key Account Manager - Business Development (Senior level)

I am currently partnered exclusively with an industry leading global Personal Care and Homecare contract manufacturer. We are in search for a talented Sales leader. This role encompasses a typical sales role with a focus on Business Development and Key Account Management.
This individual will manage the relation with the assigned customers with the aim to increase sales, improve margins and taking care of the day-to-day relations being in the meantime the point of contact between Division and the customer. This individual will be responsible for managing relationships with existing multinational accounts, with a strong global understanding of the FMCG landscape preferred.
This position is hybrid, please note this role does not have the potential to be remote.
8+ years of experience within a manufacturing operations environment, ideally within Personal Care contract manufacturing.
Experience managing multi-million leading global FMCG/CPG accounts in a similar role.
Experience managing ongoing pricing, business cases, budgets, forecast revisions and other operational tasks.
Strong analytical and business backgrounds as well as an understanding of strategic partnerships
Availability to Travel, approximately 10–20% travel.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
Specific Technical Requirements:
Capable of developing a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models, as well as assisting in completing price changes of existing product portfolio
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
Knowledge of an ERP system
Good Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Demonstrated project management experience with complex, multi‑stakeholder programs.
Languages: Proficiency in English, second language is a plus
Responsibilities:
Take care of the achievement of the sales objectives within the Account assigned, collaborating with the Key Account Director in achieving the defined strategic targets of service, turnover, first margin and DSO.
Keep on behalf of the Company the relationships with the customers’ representatives and negotiate customer contracts terms and conditions, in accordance with overall Divisional Sales strategy
Supports the sites in the SLA discussion with the customers, ensuring that the service agreements are understood and followed by both the Division and the customers
Checks the consistency of standard costs versus agreements made with customers on components/materials prices and on conversion costs applied
Update and integrate price lists, to meet and/or exceed the first margin target
Coordinates the activities of all functions with whom the customer has direct contact, to provide a consistent and cohesive service
Ensures that any request of the customer out of the standard production is quoted, that the PO is placed by the customer and that the relative invoice is prepared
Collaborate in the budgeting process and the related reviews
