The People Operations Manager is responsible for managing and executing a broad range of human resources and administrative functions that are directly related to the management and general business operations of the organization. This role ensures compliance with the accreditation agency and federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring policies and procedures are followed to attract, retain, and motivate employees while aligning with the company's strategic goals.What We Offer:Competitive base pay starting at $57,784 - $65,000/year.Medical, dental, vison and voluntary benefits available to employees the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Medical, dental and vision options available free of cost for employee only.Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) qualified employer.12 paid holidays per calendar year.48 hours of Colorado Sick Leave per calendar year.10 Vacation Days (40 hours available after 6 months of employment and accruals based on years of service).40-hour annual bereavement benefit.Participation in our 403b retirement plan.Employee Assistance Program - available to employee and family members.Bi-weekly pay; 26 pay periods in a calendar year.Professional development and training/certifications.Responsibilities:Oversees the full cycle hiring process, including job postings, applicant recruitment and screening, interview scheduling, and candidate selection.Directs the pre-employment and new hire onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements. Manages employee offboarding, including terminating access, and coordinating the return of company property.Manage employee relations, address employee concerns, and resolve workplace issues effectively and fairly.Administers company benefits plan. Assists the department director with executing the annual open enrollment process and resolves complex benefits issues requiring discretion and judgment.Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills, engagement, and retention.Maintains accurate and up-to-date personnel files, records and documentation to maintain compliance with the State, COA and other regulatory agencies.Oversees tracking and monitoring of employee training to ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and internal standards.Administers unemployment and workers’ compensation programs, making recommendations to minimize organizational risk and financial exposure.Supports the department director in conducting investigations and resolving complex employee relations issuesQualifications:Bachelor's degree required.SHRM certification (SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP) required.Three or more years’ experience in a similar role is preferred.Previous experience working with Paycom HRIS required.Knowledge of current laws, regulations, trends, resources and information related to Human Resources.Familiar with CDHS Volume 7 rules and regulations.Proficient in Microsoft Suite.Time management and organizational skills.Ability to work an open and flexible schedule to meet assigned staff, clients, and program needs, including some holidays, nights and weekends.Ability to maintain healthy emotional and physical boundaries in personal and professional relationships.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.Ability to work with sensitivity to the cultural and/or socioeconomic diversity of the agency’s clients and staff.Why Griffith Centers?Community Impact: Be part of a team that is dedicated to serving the local community and making a difference in the lives of children and families.Values-Driven Culture!
