Mindgruve is a modern media company seeking a Creative Director with Art Direction experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive visual development of campaigns.
- Lead and grow a talented team of creatives.
- Concept, pitch, and develop 360 campaigns.
- Motivate and inspire the creative team through effective communication, leadership, and guidance.
- Provide thoughtful feedback and direction to designers and copywriters.
- Participate as needed in pre‑ and post‑production processes with production partners.
- Serve as the lead creative on set when required.
- Consult on and approve the Creative Briefs that drive your team’s work.
- Lead team members with a clear vision and direction for their individual and team growth.
- Prioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short‑ and long‑term needs, and collaborate with project managers to develop work‑back schedules for design and copy projects.
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives.
- Review and approve art and copy developed by the team while collaborating with the brand.
- Set annual goals with your team and hold each member accountable for reaching those goals.
- Collaborate with the ECD on resource planning and budgeting needs.
- Collaborate with creatives, account service, strategy, and media teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience, including significant influence on video and broadcast.
- Positive, solutions‑oriented attitude and a strong work ethic is a must.
Compensation
Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 (market‑based; additional factors may affect the offer).
