Head of Business Development and Investor Relations – Job Description
North Ground Capital (“North Ground”) is seeking an experienced business development and investor relations executive to join the Firm at the partner level and help lead North Ground’s next phase of institutional growth. This individual will work directly alongside the CIO to expand the Firm’s investor base, deepen existing LP relationships, and help institutionalize fundraising, investor communications, and strategic positioning efforts. The role offers the opportunity to join a growing alternative investment manager at an inflection point following the Firm’s recent strategic partnership with Stable Asset Management alongside two large public pension funds.

Business Development
- Broaden LP base across geographies and investor types
- Strategic Development
- Help shape fundraising strategy, investor targeting, and broader firm positioning initiatives
- Support the development and launch of new products and investment vehicles over time
- Opportunity Generation
- Source new prospective LPs through research, networking, referrals, events, and intermediary relationships
- Develop strong relationships with target investors to raise capital
- Sales Process Management
- Maintain CRM and investor pipeline activity, including fundraising reporting and forecasting
- Prepare strategic meeting materials and coordinate supporting content with team members
- Manage prospect interactions, RFPs, DDQs, and ad-hoc prospect deliverables
Investor Relations
- Reporting
- Prepare and distribute investor reporting materials, including monthly fact sheets and investor updates
- Manage DDQs, audit/consultant requests, and ongoing monitoring requirements
- Client Services
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing LPs through high-touch engagement
- Identify commercial opportunities and retention risks within the existing LP base
- Serve as central point of contact for investors to ensure responsiveness and professionalism
Marketing
- Support CIO and team in building a visible and differentiated firm profile
- Strategic Communications
- Refine marketing materials and support strategic messaging for LP meetings and fundraising efforts
- Develop fluency in the Firm’s investment strategy and communicate concepts clearly to investors and consultants
